Margaret was my realtor in selling my rental property and was incredibly informative. She took the time to explain everything from the financial breakdown of the contract to the current market value of how we should list it. She always made sure that I knew I was the one making the decisions but always kept me informed so my choices were educated. With my rental, Margaret showed me that we could take the listing two ways. The first was selling it as an investment property with the tenants being part of the deal. The second way was listing it as residential once the tenants’ contract had expired. After deciding to go with the first option, the property had several interested parties in a short time. She reminded me that because I’ve fixed all the usual issues buyers asked for during my remodel and that we had several buyers asking about the property, we had all of the control over the buyers.
